According to an article published on August 1, 2024, on Empower Africa’s news websiteZemedeneh asserts that under his guidance, Ethiopian Airlines has become one of Africa’s most successful and profitable carriers.
The ongoing “privatization” process of Ethiopian Airlines has not been made public, which raises significant issues regarding transparency and accountability. As a government-owned entity, Ethiopian Airlines is obligated to maintain openness with its stakeholders, particularly the Ethiopian populace. The lack of clarity surrounding this matter is concerning and could potentially mislead both stakeholders and the general public.
