Authorities reported that over 200 individuals lost their lives in two separate landslides in southern Ethiopia. The initial landslide, caused by intense rainfall in a secluded part of the Gofa zone, took place on Monday, followed by a subsequent one that tragically engulfed individuals who had come to offer assistance, as stated by government officials on Tuesday.
