Eyasu Wessen, a prominent figure in Ethiopian sports, has been elected as the president of the African Boxing Confederation (AFBC) during a unanimous decision at a meeting held in Addis Ababa, today. Eyasu, who currently holds the position of President of the Ethiopian Boxing Federation (EBF) and Chairman of Omotic Business Group, emerged as the Ethiopian candidate and garnered the support of the voting delegates.
