By Said Osman Introduction Ethiopia is widely recognized as one of the oldest civilizations in the world, based on archaeological findings, written history, and continuous statehood. Without going too much into details, archeologic studies teach us the fact that today’s Ethiopia is also the cradle of mankind, with hominin fossils as old as 4.4 million years, and 3.2 million years, discovered in Awash Valley and Afar region, respectively. Over hundreds of thousands of years humans spread across the globe and acquired subtle physical features, but based on modern studies, the basic DNA remains the same, allowing inter-racial generations to emerge
